Une substance essentiellement destinée à épaissir doit être considérée comme intrinsèquement biodégradable en milieu aérobie si l’on constate une biodégradation supérieure à 20 % lors de l’essai OCDE 302 C de biodégradabilité intrinsèque ou selon des méthodes d’essai équivalentes.
A substance whose primary function is thickening shall be considered inherently aerobically biodegradable if it shows a biodegradation higher than 20 % in the OECD 302 C for inherent biodegradation or equivalent test methods.
