Dans le cadre d'une réunion avec une délégation suisse qui est venue au Canada pour discuter de la qualité de la culture et des échanges culturels internationaux, j'ai entre autres trouvé l'idée suivante vraiment intéressante: au lieu de réagir tout le temps, de nous demander constamment ce que feront les Américains et comment nous pouvons contourner la difficulté, nous devrions plutôt nous demander dans quels genres d'échanges culturels, qui incluent le commerce sans s'y limiter, sommes-nous prêts à nous engager.
During a meeting with a Swedish delegation that came to Canada to discuss cultural quality and cultural international exchanges, one of the things I found to be really interesting was the idea that instead of us always reacting, always asking what will the Americans do and how can we get around that, we should ask ourselves what kinds of cultural exchange we want that include trade but are not limited to trade.
