Nevertheless, the situation should be avoided where associative bodies that bring together a large number of farmers with their respective farms, as is the case for agricultural cooperatives, and that comply with the definition of 'farmer' laid down in Article 2 of this Regulation are considered as large beneficiaries, which would entail the corresponding reduction in payments.
