With a view to the enabling provision of Article 225(3) of the EC Treaty allowing, by way of Statute provision, to entrust the Court of First Instance in specific areas with jurisdiction to hear and determine questions referred for a preliminary ruling under Article 234 of the EC Treaty, the present proposal does not foresee any such competence for Community patent law provisions.
