For the purpose of creating a reference layer in the identification system for agricultural parcels that is adapted to the ecological focus areas, Member States should be able to take account of specific information which may be required from farmers in their applications for claim years 2015 to 2017, such as the identification of those landscape features or other areas which may qualify as ecological focus areas and, where necessary, the size of such features and other areas.

Although meat of the first category (breast) is the most highly valued, given that ‘Zagorski puran’ is traditionally prepared whole as a roast irrespective of the size of the carcase, cutting and categorising have had no commercial importance as far as ‘Zagorski puran’ is concerned. By contrast, hybrid turkeys are selected for commercial industrial production, with emphasis being placed on carcase size (Dissertation by Zlatko Janječić (2002), Fenotipske i genotipske odlike Zagorskih purana (Phenotypic and genotypic characteristics of ‘Zagorski puran’)).

For the purpose of regional or collective implementations in accordance with Article 46(5) and 46(6) of Regulation (EU) No 1307/2013 and for the part of the ecological focus area obligations that the beneficiaries have to fulfil individually, beneficiaries participating in such regional or collective implementations shall unambiguously identify and declare, in respect of each agricultural parcel, the type, size and location of the ecological focus area in accordance with paragraph 5 of this Article.

Considering, however, that this selection procedure could entail disproportionate costs for undertakings with reduced market capitalisation or small and medium-sized public-interest entities having regard to their size, it is appropriate to relieve such undertakings and entities from the obligation of organising a procedure for the selection of a new statutory auditor or audit firm.
