Pour calculer le taux annuel effectif global, on détermine le coût total du crédit pour le consommateur, à l'exception des frais dont ce dernier est redevable en cas de non-exécution d'une quelconque de ses obligations figurant dans le contrat de crédit, et des frais, autres que le prix d'achat, lui incombant lors d'un achat de biens ou de services, que celui-ci soit effectué au comptant ou à crédit.

For the purpose of calculating the annual percentage rate of charge, the total cost of the credit to the consumer shall be determined, with the exception of any charges payable by the consumer for non-compliance with any of his commitments laid down in the credit agreement and charges other than the purchase price which, for purchases of goods or services, he is obliged to pay whether the transaction is effected in cash or on credit.
