Mes propos avaient trait directement aux marchés de l'État. Je souhaiterais que les entreprises qui approvisionnent les Forces armées canadiennes, qu'il s'agisse de Bombardier, de Spar Aerospace ou de toute autre société, dans la mesure du possible, lorgnent du côté des marchés étrangers pour vendre, aux Français, aux Allemands, aux Anglais ou aux Américains les produits qu'ils mettent au point pour les forces armées. Si c'était chez eux une préoccupation constante, le budget du MDN servirait de belle façon à accroître notre capacité industrielle.
