1. Notwithstanding Article 7 of the implementing Regulation, any institution which establishes, while investigating a claim for benefits, that the claimant is entitled to an independent benefit under the applicable legislation, in accordance with Article 52(1)(a) of the basic Regulation, shall pay that benefit without delay.

Nonobstant l’article 7 du règlement d’application, toute institution qui constate, au cours de l’instruction d’une demande de prestations, que le demandeur a droit à une prestation indépendante au titre de la législation applicable, conformément à l’article 52, paragraphe 1, point a), du règlement de base, verse cette prestation sans délai.
