Je pense, par exemple, à l’occupation par Israël des terres appartenant aux Palestiniens, à l’occupation de Chypre par la Turquie et à la colonisation persistante, en ce XXIe siècle, d’une partie du Maroc par l’Espagne, qui possède deux colonies dans ce pays, ainsi qu’aux deux colonies britanniques à Chypre et – il me semble – une autre colonie britannique en Espagne .
I refer, for example, to the occupation by Israel of land belonging to the Palestinians; to the occupation of Cyprus by Turkey; and to the continuing colonisation, in this the 21st century, of part of Morocco by Spain, which has two colonies in Morocco, and to Britain’s two colonies in Cyprus and – I understand – one colony in Spain.
