13. wenst dat het tijdschema voor de liberalisering van de industriesector wordt aangepast aan de sociaal-economische omstandigheden van elk land, inclusief het werkloosheidsniveau, en de gevolgen van de liberalisering voor het milieu; beklemtoont dat het economisch en handelspartnerschap tot een grotere diversificatie van de geproduceerde industriegoederen moet leiden, alsook tot meer toegevoegde waarde; verzoekt de ZOM-landen een regionaal beleid uit te werken dat oog heeft voor de rol van zeer kleine, kleine en middelgrote ondernemingen;

Calls for the timetable for the liberalisation of the industrial sector to be adjusted on the basis of the economic and social conditions in each country, including the level of unemployment, and its impact on the environment; stresses that the economic and trade partnership should promote greater diversification in industrial goods production as well as higher added value; calls on the SEMCs to establish regional policies that take into account the role of very small, small and medium-sized enterprises;
