− (FR) Mevrouw de Voorzitter, tijdens de Raad Ecofin die zojuist in Brussel heeft plaatsgevonden, hebben wij vooruitgang weten te boeken op twee dossiers: wij hebben – in het kader van begrotingsconsolidatie en van de nieuwe procedures voor begrotingscontrole – ingestemd met de invoering van het Europees semester, en wij hebben tevens het akkoord bekrachtigd dat tijdens een trialoog tussen de Commissie, het Europees Parlement en, uiteraard, de Raad was bereikt over alle teksten met betrekking tot het financiële toezicht.
– (FR) Madam President, the meeting of the ECOFIN Council, which has just taken place in Brussels, has enabled us to make progress on two issues, by adopting the European Semester, within the framework of budgetary consolidation and of the new budget monitoring procedures, and also by endorsing the agreement reached during a trialogue with the Commission, the European Parliament and the Council, of course, on all the financial supervision texts.
