Om voor de in punt e) bedoelde steun ten behoeve van onderzoeks- en ontwikkelingsprojecten en haalbaarheidsstudies de passende drempels vast te stellen, wordt een project geacht „overwegend” uit fundamenteel onderzoek of „overwegend” uit industrieel onderzoek te bestaan, indien meer dan 50 % van de in aanmerking komende projectkosten wordt gemaakt voor activiteiten die binnen de categorie „fundamenteel onderzoek”, onderscheidenlijk „industrieel onderzoek” vallen.
For the purposes of determining the appropriate threshold applicable to research and development project aid and feasibility studies pursuant to point (e), a project shall be considered to consist ‘predominantly’ of fundamental research or ‘predominantly’ of industrial research, if more than 50 % of the eligible project costs are incurred through activities which fall within the category of fundamental research or industrial research respectively.
