The Executive Director may determine that the documentation to be provided by the applicant in support of the priority claim may consist of less than what is required under the specifications adopted in accordance with paragraph 2, provided that the information required is available to the Office from other sources.

The national trade mark application or the designation of a Member State party to the Madrid Protocol [...] resulting from the conversion of the designation of the European Union through an international registration shall enjoy, in respect of the Member State concerned, the date of the international registration pursuant to Article 3(4) of the Madrid Protocol or the date of the extension to the European Union pursuant to Article 3ter(2) of the Madrid Protocol if the latter was made subsequently to the international registration, or the date of priority of that registration and, where appropriate, the seniority of a trade mark of that State claimed under Article 153 ...[+++]'.

4. Member States shall endeavour to ensure that appeals challenging the substantive or procedural legality of a comprehensive decision are handled in the most efficient way possible and are given priority in the administrative or judicial systems.

31. Calls on the Member States to adopt or maintain growth-friendly policies, including the prioritisation of spending in the areas of education, life-long learning, research and innovation, despite the austerity measures necessitated by the economic crisis and the need to minimise the burden of public debt, especially in the euro area;

2. Recalls that priority should be given to multilateral trade negotiations under the auspices of the WTO, in particular as regards the objectives of the Doha Round; calls on the Commission to maintain a strong stance in defending European interests against unfair trade, in accordance with multilateral and bilateral trade agreements, and in removing all unjustified obstacles to trade, including, when appropriate, through the suspension of concessions or other obligations as provided for by Article 22.2 of the World Trade Organisation’s Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes;

29. Underlines the fact that the Member States and public and private organisations should give priority to work-life balance by introducing more family-friendly working conditions such as flexible working hours and teleworking and by developing child facilities, nurseries etc.;
