Si la dimension de la saillie d'un élément monté sur un panneau autre que convexe ne peut pas être déterminée par une simple mesure, elle doit être déterminée par la variation maximale de la distance entre le centre d'une sphère de 100 mm de diamètre et la ligne nominale du panneau lorsque la sphère est déplacée en restant constamment en contact avec cet élément.
1.2. If the extent of the projection of a component mounted on a panel other than convex cannot be determined by means of a simple measurement, it must be determined via the maximum variation in the distance between the centre of a 100 mm diameter sphere and the nominal line of the panel when the sphere is moved, while remaining constantly in contact with that component.
