La proposition porte sur la manière dont les règles régissant la production biologique peuvent contribuer à la réalisation des priorités de la stratégie Europe 2020 pour une croissance intelligente, durable et inclusive, qui consistent notamment à développer une économie compétitive fondée sur la connaissance et l’innovation, à encourager une économie à fort taux d’emploi favorisant la cohésion sociale et territoriale, ainsi qu'à soutenir le passage à une économie sobre en carbone et économe en ressources.
The proposal targets how rules concerning organic production contribute to the realisation of the policy priorities of the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, in particular achieving a competitive economy based on knowledge and innovation, fostering a high employment economy delivering social and territorial cohesion and supporting the shift towards a resource efficient and low-carbon economy.
