La commission des transports et du tourisme balaie d’un revers de main les amendements visant à introduire des mesures qui s’attaqueraient vraiment aux causes des accidents et qui auraient réellement le potentiel d’améliorer le comportement des personnes au volant, par exemple en évitant l’alcool au volant ou en adaptant leur vitesse aux conditions de conduite.
Amendments aimed at bringing in measures that would really address the causes of accidents and have real potential for getting people to improve the way they drive, by, for example, abstaining from alcohol or adapting their speed to the driving conditions, get thrown out altogether by the Committee on Transport and Tourism.
