2. La dérogation prévue au paragraphe 1 n'est accordée que lorsque le vétérinaire officiel a confirmé, au moment de l'investigation officielle visée à l'article 4, paragraphe 2, qu'avant la date d'identification du foyer de fièvre aphteuse dans l'exploitation, les conditions ci-après, qui visent à empêcher la propagation du virus aphteux entre les unités de production visées au paragraphe 1, ont été réunies pendant une période d'une durée au moins égale à deux périodes d'incubation.
2. The derogation provided for in paragraph 1 shall only be granted after the official veterinarian has confirmed at the time of the official investigation referred to in Article 4(2), that the following conditions to prevent the spread of foot-and-mouth disease virus between the production units referred to in paragraph 1, have been in place for at least two incubation periods prior to the date the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease was identified on the holding:
