– (LT) J’ai voté en faveur de cette résolution parce qu'au cours des quatre derniers mois, la Côte d'Ivoire a été plongée dans une crise politique profonde provoquée par le refus du président en place Laurent Gbagbo de laisser le pouvoir au président légitime Alassane Ouattara, en dépit du fait que ce dernier a remporté le scrutin présidentiel en novembre 2010 et a été reconnu comme vainqueur par la communauté internationale, après validation des résultats par les Nations unies.
– (LT) I voted in favour of this resolution because over the past four months, Côte d’Ivoire has been plunged into a deep political crisis stemming from the refusal of the incumbent President, Laurent Gbagbo, to relinquish power to the legitimate President, Alassane Ouattara, despite the fact that the latter won the November 2010 presidential poll and has been recognised as the victor by the international community, following validation of the results by the United Nations.
