Afin d'avoir une idée plus précise de l'organisation de la sous-traitance au Japon, la Commission a organisé, fin 1988, une mission d'étude sur ce sujet à laquelle ont participé des représentants d'organismes intermédiaires de la sous-traitance de l'ensemble des pays de la Communauté/.-------- (*) COM(89)402 final - 3 - Cette mission a été l'occasion d'étudier les possibiltés et les limites d'un transfert du sytème japonais de sous-traitance en Europe et a surtout permis de tirer un certain nombre d'enseignements très intéressants sur la gestion et l'efficacité d'une production industrielle reposant sur un tissu étendu de sous-traitants, en particulier en ce qui concerne les nouvelles méthodes d'organisation de la sous-production (just in
time, flu ...[+++]x tendus, kanban, etc...).In order to gain a clearer picture of the way in which subcontracting is organized in Japan, the Commission sent a fact-finding mission to that country in late 1988, which included representatives of subcontracting intermediaries in all the Member States.
