Member States should decide on the best channel to be used for the transmission of information to Eurojust.

The Council agreed on the use of a new standard format for the exchange of information as regards the taxation of savings Directive (2003/48CE), to be used by EU Member States from 2008 onwards, and on the use of CCN-Mail 2 as the channel for the exchange of information in 2006 and 2007 (15306/05).

Through Member States' liaison officers based in the Hague, the Drugs Unit has begun to exchange information on trafficking in human beings and is currently preparing a general report on the situation in the EU.

Additionally, the court concluded: " By separating Mr. Ifcher Bronston from the control of channel 2 and excluding the journalists from the program Contra Punto, the state not only restricted the right of these individuals to circulate news, ideas and opinions but also affected the right of all Peruvians to receive information, limiting their right to exercise political opinions and develop themselves fully in a democratic society" .
