Ayant présidé pendant dix ans une telle organisation, à savoir le Centre européen du Conseil international des femmes, lequel compte des affiliés dans l’Union européenne, dans les nouveaux États membres, en Bulgarie, en Roumanie, en Turquie, dans les pays de l’AELE et même en dehors, je suis mieux à même d’apprécier à sa juste valeur ce programme destiné aux nombreuses organisations féminines actives au niveau européen dans ce domaine, et qui seront donc susceptibles de bénéficier d’une subvention dans le cadre d’un crédit, dont le montant proposé s’élève à 2,222 millions d’euros.
