— Forêts: fournir, en particulier au travers d'un réseau de coordination de l'UE, une base concise et complète d'informations pertinentes pour la politique forestière en ce qui concerne le changement de climat (impacts sur les écosystèmes forestiers, atténuation, effets de substitution), la biodiversité (informations de base et zones forestières protégées), les incendies de forêt, l'état et les fonctions protectrices des forêts (eau, sol et infrastructure) ainsi que contribuer à la protection des forêts contre les incendies;
— Forests: To provide, especially through an EU coordination network, a concise and comprehensive basis for policy relevant information on forests in relation to climate change (impact on forest ecosystems, mitigation, substitution effects), biodiversity (baseline information and protected forest areas), forest fires, forest conditions and the protective functions of forests (water, soil and infrastructure) as well as contributing to the protection of forests against fires;
