16. appuie la Commission dans sa stratégie de communication, qui vise à sensibiliser à l'élargissement tant les citoyens des États membres que les citoyens des pays candidats; à titre de contribution à cet effort, a programmé l'ouverture, cette année encore, de ses premières antennes d'information dans quatre pays candidats et soutient les efforts visant à décentraliser la mise en œuvre de la stratégie de communication pour chaque pays; fait remarquer qu'il convient de confier à ces antennes de communication un rôle de facilitation, à jouer avec précaution;
16. Supports the Commission in its communication strategy aimed at increasing citizens’ awareness of enlargement both in the Member States and the candidate countries; will contribute to this endeavour with the planned opening of the first EP information offices in four candidate countries later this year and supports efforts to decentralise the implementation of the communication strategy for each country; points out that these information offices should above all have the task of facilitating developments, which needs to be exercised with care;
