9. Lorsque, au décès d’un officier, il n’y a personne à qui une pension ou une allocation de commisération prévue par la présente Partie ou la Partie II peut être payée ou lorsque les personnes, auxquelles une telle pension ou allocation de commisération peut être payée, décèdent ou cessent d’y avoir droit et qu’aucun montant ne peut leur être payé en vertu de la présente Partie ou de la Partie II, tout montant par lequel l’ensemble des montants déduits en conformité de l’article 16 dépasse l’ensemble des montants payés à ces personnes et à l’officier en vertu de la présente Partie doit être payé à la succession de l’officier.
9. Where, upon the death of an officer there is no person to whom a pension or a compassionate allowance provided under this Part or Part II may be paid or where the persons to whom such pension or compassionate allowance may be paid, die or cease to be eligible therefor and no other amount may be paid to them under this Part or Part II, any amount by which the aggregate of the amounts deducted pursuant to section 16 exceeds the aggregate of all amounts paid to those persons and to the officer under this Part shall be paid to the estate of the officer.
