(2) As soon as practicable after the coming into force of this section, the Minister of National Revenue shall publish in the Canada Gazette a list of the real property and immovables the administration of which was transferred under subsection (1) in such a way that each is sufficiently identified.

It has a population of around 57000 and its Gross National Income was EUR 29,286/capita in 2006 but has not risen in real terms in recent years.

6. Takes note of the fact that the financial ceiling of heading 5, administrative expenditure, will theoretically allow for an increase of 4 % or EUR 311 000 000; consequently notes that, as a yardstick, the voluntary 20 % share of the Parliament would still imply an "automatic" additional room for manoeuvre of EUR 62 000 000 calculated on the ceilings and EUR 87 000 000 compared to the real budget adopted for 2009; points out that there are, nevertheless, uncertainties as to the evolution of the EU-GNI and the circumstances in which the European Parliament has to operate;

Underlines that a realistic level of payments is essential for the 2006 budget; believes that the Commission's very modest proposal, representing 1.02% of Gross National Income (GNI ) - EUR 1,19 billion lower than the 1.03% of GNI proposed in the 2005 PDB - must be measured against real needs and implementation capacity : points out that the proposal of the Commission is far lower than the 1.08 % ceiling of the current financial perspective;

Stresses that a realistic level of payments is essential for the 2006 budget; believes that the Commission's very modest proposal, representing 1.02% of Gross National Income (GNI ) - EUR 1.19 billion lower than the 1.03% of GNI proposed in the 2005 PDB - must be measured against real needs and implementation capacity : points out that the proposal of the Commission is far lower than the 1.08 % ceiling of the current financial perspective;

It lays out better than I could all the relevant numbers on the deficit and debt and the impact on our economy, such as the fact that it absorbs our domestic savings, increases our foreign indebtedness, worsening our current account, lowering national income, our potential growth, reducing our fiscal flexibility, threatening our social programs, increasing our tax burden, raising real interest costs and decreasing our competitiveness.
