Definition: States of subjective distress and emotional disturbance, usually interfering with social functioning and performance, arising in the period of adaptation to a significant life change or a stressful life event. The Commission insisted on bearing in mind that: (i) in dealing with closure, the projects on the ground must be in line with the relevant Decisions; (ii) the final date of eligibility for projects of the 2000-2006 period remains the 31 December 2010; (iii) the one modification rule applies.

12 projects from the period 1994-99 were also closed and the final reports for 5 other projects were considered in 2002.

(8) To continue the development of the activities defined in the ATM Master Plan, it is necessary to extend the duration of the Joint Undertaking until 2024, which reflects the duration of the Union’s 2014-2020 financial framework and allows 4 additional years for completion of the Joint Undertaking's Work Programme and the closing of projects that would be initiated by the end of that financial framework.
