Si les animaux (chats, chiens et furets) proviennent d’un pays tiers non listé à la partie C de l’annexe II, des règles sanitaires plus strictes sont en vigueur. S’ils sont introduits à destination des États membres autres que l’Irlande, Malte, la Suède et le Royaume-Uni, ces animaux doivent être vaccinés et avoir subi un titrage d’anticorps (pour la Finlande un traitement contre le ténia échinocoque est également exigé jusqu’au 31 décembre 2011).
Stricter health rules apply to animals (cats, dogs and ferrets) coming from a third country not listed in Part C of Annex II. If they enter Member States other than Ireland, Malta, Sweden and the United Kingdom, these animals must be vaccinated and have undergone a neutralising antibody titration (for Finland treatment against tapeworm echinococcosis is also required until 31 December 2011).
