En attendant l'adoption du projet de loi modifiant la loi de 2002 et de 2003 sur la banque centrale chypriote, la législation chypriote, en particulier la loi sur la banque centrale, n'était pas totalement compatible avec l'article 109 du traité et avec les statuts du SEBC en ce qui concerne l'intégration de la banque centrale dans le SEBC au moment de l'adoption de l'euro.
Pending the adoption of the draft Law amending the Central Bank of Cyprus Law of 2002 and 2003, legislation in Cyprus, in particular the Central Bank of Cyprus law, was considered not fully compatible with Article 109 of the Treaty and the ESCB Statute as regards central bank integration into the ESCB at the time of the adoption of the euro.
