(18) To facilitate the partners' management of their property, this Regulation authorises them to choose as the law applicable to all the property covered by their property regime, regardless of the nature or location of that property, either the law of the State where the partnership was registered or the law of the State with which the partners have close links by virtue of residence or on account of their nationality, as long as it is the law of a State that recognises the institution of registered partnerships, even if this law is ...[+++] not the law of a Member State.
