Mr. Bernard Dussault (Former Chief Actuary of Canada, As Individual): Presently, the chief actuary reports administratively to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, that's OSFI. On the other hand, as per the Public Pensions Reporting Act and the CPP Act, the statutory actuarial reports are signed by the chief actuary and transmitted directly to the Minister of Finance, for immediate tabling in the House of Commons.
