Mr. Prokopanko: As a forensic toxicologist and an analyst, at least in past years, let me point out that the forensic labs, not only the RCMP system but the centre in Toronto and the Montreal lab, are all accredited laboratories and not just for the DRE program.

The samples are sealed and sent to the accredited labs that support law enforcement, the centre for forensic sciences, the crime lab in Montreal and the RCMP labs across the country, where they are analyzed.
