When terrorism is used as a tactic, often within the same country, to sort through denominational battles between different sects of the same religious faith, which is really a political battle for control and domination — we face the shadow and knock-on impacts of some of the same throughout Western Europe — it is clear that the dimensions of terrorism have changed dramatically since the days that terrorist Stern Gang exploded a bomb in the King David Hotel near the end of the British mandate in Palestine.
