Si le Parlement pense vraiment ce qu’il dit au sujet de la PESC, nous devons envoyer le message clair que nous soutiendrons un service pour l’action extérieure fort, complet et soucieux de n’exclure personne et, en observant nos propres prérogatives, nous ne soutiendrons aucun intérêt catégoriel cherchant à limiter la capacité, et donc l’efficacité, de ce service.
If Parliament means what it says on the CFSP, we have to send a clear message that we will support a strong, comprehensive and inclusive External Action Service and, in observing our own prerogatives, we will not be part of any vested interests seeking to limit the capacity, and therefore the effectiveness, of that service.
