La radicalisation partielle de la population de Kiev s'explique par la brutalité dont les policiers ont fait preuve lors des manifestations pacifiques du 30 novembre et du 1er décembre, le fait que les autorités n'ont jamais donné suite aux doléances d'EuroMaïdan, les répressions systématiques dont ont fait l'objet ceux qui ont pris part aux manifestations un peu partout au pays et l'adoption de lois illégitimes qui transforment littéralement l'Ukraine en dictature.
Partial radicalization of public attitudes in Kyiv is the outcome of brutal actions by police during crackdowns on the peaceful demonstrators on the 30th of November and 1st of December, absence of a response by the authorities to the EuroMaidan's demands, systemic repressions towards participants of the protests across the country, and adoption of illegitimate laws, that literally reify dictatorship in Ukraine.
