e) examiner le serpentin de tout alambic ou autre appareil dont fait usage un distillateur ou fabricant entrepositaire, en faisant retirer l’eau de la cuve du serpentin ou du réfrigérant contenant le serpentin, à tout moment où cette opération, de l’avis du préposé, ne cause pas de dommage au fonctionnement de l’alambic ou autre appareil, ou lorsqu’il le juge nécessaire pour prévenir ou découvrir la fraude;
(e) examine the worm of any still or other apparatus used by any distiller or bonded manufacturer, by causing the water to be drawn off from the worm-tub or refrigerator containing the worm, at any time when, in the opinion of the officer, the doing so will not be prejudicial to the working of the still or other apparatus, or when he deems it necessary to do so for the prevention or detection of fraud;
