La crise qui se déroule dans l'ancienne Yougoslavie a constitué, cette année encore, une source de préoccupation constante pour la Communauté qui, outre les sanctions économiques mises en oeuvre à l'égard de la Serbie et du Monténégro, a participé activement aux efforts inlassablement déployés, notamment au sein des conférences internationales réunies à La Haye, Londres et Genève, en vue d'une arrêt des hostilités.
In 1992 the crisis in former Yugoslavia again proved to be a source of constant concern to the Community, which, in addition to participating in the economic sanctions against Serbia and Montenegro, contributed actively to the relentless efforts made, particularly at the international conferences in The Hague, London and Geneva, to bring about an end to the hostilities.
