Today's proposal for a Regulation establishing a European Union Agency for law Enforcement training gives CEPOL the appropriate legal mandate and the necessary resources to implement the EU Law Enforcement Training Scheme which the Commission proposed in March 2013.

Exports of animals and products of animal origin from the EU to Russia have to comply with requirements agreed between the European Commission and the Russian veterinary service for a number of commodities.

The policy statement of minister Bourbeau described how two different manpower training networks could cause problems.
