There's a lot at stake for our fellow organizations, which include the Canadian Broiler Hatching Egg Marketing Agency, the Canadian Egg Marketing Agency, the Canadian Poultry and Egg Processors Council, the Canadian Turkey Marketing Agency, the Chicken Farmers of Canada, and the Further Poultry Processors Association of Canada.

Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 1907/90 does not apply to direct sales from producers to retailers in certain regions of Finland in view of the specific conditions of egg marketing in those regions; whereas the list of these regions should now be amended taking account of improved marketing conditions due to an increase in the number of packing centres in the less remote areas of Finland; whereas, in order to facilitate future reductions of this list, they should be adopted in accordance with Article 17 of Regulation (EEC) No 2771/75,

Whereas in application of Articles 2, 3 and 4 of Regulation (EEC) No 1601/92 (2), it is necessary to determine for the eggs and poultrymeat sectors and for the 1992/93 marketing year, on the one hand, the quantities of meat and eggs of the forecast supply balance which benefit from an exemption for the levy on direct imports from third countries or from an aid for deliveries originating from the rest of the Community, and on the other hand, the quantities of breeding material originating in the Community which benefit from an aid with a view to developing the potential for production in the archipelago of the Canaries;

Whereas, by letter dated 5 November 1969, the competent authorities of the Socialist Republic of Romania stated that they were prepared to give such guarantee for exports to the Community of fresh or preserved poultry eggs in shell, other than eggs for hatching ; whereas they will ensure that such exports are made only by the State foreign trade agency Romagricola ; whereas they will ensure also that deliveries of the above-mentioned products are not made at free-at-Community-frontier prices lower than the sluice-gate price valid on the day of customs clearance ; whereas, to that end, they will see to it in particular that the State foreign trade agency Romagricola does not take ...[+++]any action which might indirectly bring about prices lower than the sluicegate prices, such as taking over marketing or transport costs, granting rebates, resorting to linked transactions or any other action having similar effect;
