En ce qui concerne les ressources, pour le budget 2002, au lieu d'attendre la présentation du budget rectificatif et supplémentaire habituel (BRS) au printemps, la Commission a soumis un budget rectificatif le 27 février afin de tenir compte des changements importants dans les recettes, résultant notamment d'un fort excédent potentiel pour 2001 et des effets de la nouvelle décision relatives aux ressources propres.
In respect of resources, for the 2002 Budget rather than wait for the usual supplementary amending budget (SAB) to be presented in the spring, the Commission presented on the 27th of February an amending budget to take into account significant changes in revenue arising in particular from a potential large surplus for 2001 and the consequences of the new Decision on own resources.
