Is of the opinion that the Annual Activity Reports (AARs) of DG Budget and Eurostat should provide a true and fair view of the verification of Member States’ GNI data and of the management of GNI-based own resources; calls, therefore, on the Commission to establish requirements for Eurostat to report regularly on the results of its verification of GNI data, allowing DG Budget to draw the required assurance to be used in the context of its AARs;

I would be interested to know how many people just like these will receive audit notices from the Canada Revenue Agency this spring and how many investigations of suspected overseas tax evasion the agency will conduct.

I'd like to know, when you're determining the issues, why that area wouldn't be audited with respect to what the federal government has not done.

We felt it did acknowledge the efforts we made to implement that program, right from the beginning taking into account good financial management practices.
