2. Failure to act within the one month period or the two weeks period mentioned in paragraph 1 shall be tantamount to accepting the request, and shall entail the obligation to take back the person concerned, including the obligation to provide for proper arrangements for arrival.

MUTUAL ASSISTANCE AND CO-OPERATION TO ENSURE THE CORRECT APPLICATION OF THE LAW ON CUSTOMS OR AGRICULTURAL MATTERS The Council held an extensive discussion on the outstanding problems concerning the proposal for a Regulation on mutual assistance between the administrative authorities of the Member States and co-operation between the latter and the Commission to ensure the correct application of the law on customs or agricultural matters.
