In the case of the Ukrainian bill, Bill C-331, it's the Ukrainian-Canadian Congress, the Ukrainian Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and the Taras Shevchenko Foundation; in Bill C-333, the main group is the National Congress of Chinese Canadians.

Allow me to begin by first recognizing the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, the Ukrainian Canadian Civil Liberties Association and in particular Professor Lubomyr Luciuk for their tireless efforts to promote awareness of the internment of Ukrainian Canadians during the first world war.

It should contain one or more items from a scheme containing values for civil law, commercial law, family law, insolvency law, private international law, criminal law, EU law, administrative law, tax law, international public law and constitutional law, and may contain a more specific description of the field of law.

Welcomes, furthermore, the new horizontal obligations created by the Treaty of Lisbon to combat social exclusion and discrimination and to promote social justice and protection, equality between men and women, respect for private and family life, solidarity between generations and protection of the rights of the child, and to develop a common policy on asylum and immigration and combat trafficking in human beings, as well as its explicit reference to persons belonging to minorities, which reflects another founding value of the Union; welcomes the fact that the Union has acquired legal personality allowing it to accede to international treaties, the improvement in judicial protection with the extension of the jurisdiction of the CJ to areas ...[+++] of obvious relevance to the protection of fundamental rights, such as police and judicial cooperation in the field of criminal law, the strengthened role of the European Parliament and national parliaments in the European decision-making process, especially in evaluating the implementation of EU policy in the AFSJ, the increased role of European citizens, now invested with the power to initiate EU legislation through the European Citizens’ Initiative, and the obligation to maintain an open, transparent and regular dialogue with representative associations and civil society (Article 11(2) TEU);

6. The Commission shall adopt, by means of delegated acts in accordance with Article 31, measures specifying the professional functions of persons who are considered to discharge managerial responsibility as referred to in paragraph 1, the types of association, including by birth as well as under civil and contractual law, considered to create a close personal association, the characteristics of a transaction referred to in paragraph 2 which trigger that duty, and the information that must be made public and the means of informing the public.

21. ATH holds one-third of the share capital (DM 300 million) of Mannesmannröhren-Werke AG (MRW). The other two-thirds are held by Mannesmann AG. On 16 December 1969 Mannesmann and ATH entered into an Agreement establishing an unincorporated association called "Vereinigung Mannesmannröhren-Werke AG (Vereinigung MRW)". The purpose of the association is to enable the two partners to exercise joint control over MRW on the basis of consensus reached in a Partnership Committee consisting of representatives of each of them.
