Contents of the proposed agreement Over the last ten years Mexico has become a contracting party to a number of multilateral bodies, notably the GATT and the OECD, and has played an active role in its regional context, mostly within APEC, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum, and the Association of Caribbean States (AEC).
