Mr. Gord Hannon: If I understand, sir, there have been consultations among the parties during the negotiation of the agreement, but there has also been a process that Manitoba Northern Affairs, on behalf of the Manitoba government, has been involved with in terms of dealing with other interests in Manitoba.

At the outset I'd like to say that Manitoba Northern Affairs and the Government of Manitoba express their support for both parts of Bill C-56.

In January 2016, the Court ruled against Bulgaria (case C-141/14) in a similar case concerning the designation and protection of Kaliakra, another important area for protection of birds in the Southern Dobruja region of the northern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.

Following the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Communities of 3 September 2008 in Joined Cases C-402/05 P and C-415/05 P: Judgment of the Court (Grand Chamber) of 3 September 2008 — Yassin Abdullah Kadi, Al Barakaat International Foundation v Council of the European Union, Commission of the European Communities, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Regulation (EC) No 881/2002 should be amended to provide for a listing procedure ensuring that the fundamental rights of the defence and in particular the right to be heard are respected.

Arrangements for greater cooperation over the use of Gibraltar airport were agreed in London on 2 December 1987 by the Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdom in a joint declaration by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.

3. Application of this Regulation to Gibraltar airport shall be suspended until the arrangements included in the Joint Declaration made by the Foreign Ministers of the Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdom on 2 December 1987 enter into operation.
