«Les enfants souffrant de spina bifida et d’hydrocéphalie étaient négligés et la plupart d’entre eux mourraient en bas âge faute de soins suffisants» dit Ambrose, rappelant la situation qui prévalait il y a trois ans, lorsqu’il a commencé à collaborer à un programme de réadaptation communautaire intitulé Organized Useful Rehabilitation Services (OURS).
“Children with spina bifida or hydrocephalus were neglected and most of them died at an early age due to limited care” says Ambrose, recalling the situation three years ago when he started working in a community-based rehabilitation programme, Organized Useful Rehabilitation Services (OURS).
