There has been a particularly noticeable increase in potential reproductive disorders in the form of impaired sperm quality, testicular cancer, early onset of puberty and deformities of the sexual organs, e.g. cryptorchidism, where the testicles do not descend into the scrotum when the foetus is developing, and hypospadiasis, in which the opening of the urethra is on the underside of the penis.
