That is a slap in the face to the democracy that is supposed to go on in this House and it is certainly a slap in the face to the millions of Canadians who were supporting in their own way a victims bill of rights, certainly to victims of crime when a government will not deal with a bill that has been passed in this House.
C'est un affront à la démocratie qui est censée régir les débats dans cette enceinte et c'est certainement un affront aux millions de Canadiens qui appuyaient à leur façon la déclaration des droits des victimes, aux victimes d'actes criminels quand le gouvernement ne donne pas suite à un projet de loi adopté par la Chambre.
