This has an impact on markets in two ways: firstly, it broadens the range of goods and services on offer; the latter are both complementary and closely linked to one another, and are sometimes termed baskets. Within those baskets, products are differentiated by quality and origin (linked to a terroir, a skill or a production method); services, by contrast, are more difficult to categorise, but offer considerable potential.
