‘full validation procedure’ means the assessment through a ring trial involving national reference laboratories of the method performance criteria set by the applicant as compliant with the document entitled ‘Definition of minimum performance requirements for analytical methods of GMO testing’ referred to in point 1(B) of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 641/2004, and the assessment of the repeatability and trueness of the method provided by the applicant.

Furthermore, the manufacturer or the person responsible for placing the product on the Community market may take advantage, on the product packaging or in any document, notice, label, ring or collar accompanying or referring to the product, of the fact that no animal tests have been carried out only if the manufacturer and his suppliers have not carried out or commissioned any animal tests on the finished product, or its prototype, or any of the ingredients contained in it, or knowingly used any ingredients that have been tested on animals by others for the purpose of developing new cosmetic products.

"Furthermore, the manufacturer or the person responsible for placing the product on the Community market may only take advantage, on the product packaging or in any document, notice, label, ring or collar accompanying or referring to the product, of the fact that no animal tests have been carried out provided the manufacturer and his suppliers have not carried out or commissioned any animal tests on the finished product, or its prototype, or any of the ingredients contained in it, nor knowingly used any ingredients that have been tested on animals for the purpose of developing new cosmetic products by others.

Furthermore, the manufacturer or the person responsible for placing the product on the Community market may only take advantage, on the product packaging or in any document, notice, label, ring or collar accompanying or referring to the product, of the fact that no animal tests have been carried out provided the manufacturer and his suppliers have not carried out or commissioned any animal tests on the finished product, or its prototype, or any of the ingredients contained in it, nor knowingly used any ingredients that have been tested on animals for the purpose of developing new cosmetic products by others .

Furthermore, the manufacturer or the person responsible for placing the product on the Community market may only take advantage, on the product packaging or in any document, notice, label, ring or collar accompanying or referring to the product, of the fact that no animal tests have been carried out provided neither the finished product, nor its prototype, nor any of the ingredients contained in it have ever been the subject of such tests including for purposes outside the scope of this Directive.

16. Urges the Commission to make full use of its powers under Article 12 of Council Directive 92/27/EEC to explore the feasibility of placing on the packaging of pharmaceutical products a standard "traffic-light" logo aimed at sportsmen and women and accompanied by the five Olympic rings, which would indicate at a glance whether a particular product would definitely/might/definitely not lead to a sportsman or woman testing positive in an anti-doping test;
