Seven Objective 2 SPDs are multifund programmes and include an ESF allocation.

All seven OPs which include ESF (six multifund programmes at Länder level and one monofund federal ESF programme) had already been adopted between 1 August 2000 and 1 February 2001; consequently, ESF part-funded measures could be implemented at full speed in 2002.

Seven Objective 2 SPDs are multifund programmes and include an ESF allocation.

These were multifund programmes (ERDF and ESF), with the exception of the programmes in Baden-Württemberg, Bremen, Hamburg and Hessen (ERDF alone).

26. Observes that it was not possible for the Commission to implement satisfactorily the allocation for integrated measures through multifund projects, entered in the context of the Community initiatives; now expects cooperation with other Community programmes at the directorates-general responsible to proceed more efficiently once each Community initiative is financed from a single fund;

- 2 - THE COMMISSION ADOPTS A MULTIFUND OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR THE ABRUZZI REGION On a proposal from Mr Bruce Millan, Member of the Commission responsible for regional policies, the Commission has adopted a multifund programme which pulls together, for the 1990-1993 period, three programmes of the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund and the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund, adopted on 30 November 1988, 20 November 1990 and 3 November 1990 respectively, with an increase of ECU 38 million in the support already provided from the ERDF.
